dressdown (formally Cynthia Slaughter) is a rock band from Madison, WI. Their collective musical influences are drawn from a wide spectrum, including good old rock n' roll, indie, experimental, metal, reggae, r&b, etc. They assembled as an acoustic group, but have transformed to a five piece ensemble, therefore enabling an even more full and diverse sound. They want to make the music that they enjoy and want to keep progressing, writing, and challenging themselves as a band.
